Los hermanos Auserón, componentes de Radio Futura, tuvieron la idea y el descaro de convertir este hermosísimo poema en una canción en castellano. Si a la dificultad de traducir un texto y en ese paso no cargarse las intenciones el autor, le añadimos la de convertir el resultado en buena música, y luego de todo esto obtenemos un producto magnífico, pues ya no hay nada más que añadir (quizás que ésta es una de mis canciones preferidas). La canción la titularon Annabel Lee, y pertenece al album La canción de Juan Perro (1987).

Junto a la canción los de La Bola de Cristal, de TVE, produjeron un video clip musical y que fué dirigido por Manuel Soriano. Este video clip también es muy bueno. Si quieres, ahí tienes para disfrutarlo.
